The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester L. Meyers of Cloverdale, Va., formerly of Cary, N.C., and Blacksburg, Va. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald R. Rogers of Cary, N.C., and the late Mr. William L. Krause.
Mrs. Suzie King of Arlington, Texas, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Theresa Hodges of Cary, N.C.; Mrs. Ellen Sullivan of Centerville, Ohio; Miss Christina Coxe of Raleigh, N.C.; and Miss Shannon Taylor of Greenville, N.C. Miss Kristin Ashley Meyers, niece of the bride, was flowergirl. Mrs. Amy Edge read the scripture. Mrs. Cassie Baker, sister of the groom, distributed programs. Mrs. Kathy Meyers attended the guestbook. Mrs.Darlene Baker directed the wedding.
Mr. Ronald Rogers served as best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Barry Jones of Garner, N.C.; Mr. John Elliot of Charleston, S.C.; Mr. John Spence of Cary, N.C.; and Mr. Jeff Trudell, cousin of the groom, of Greensburg, Wisconsin.
Mr. Bill Leslie sang two beautiful solos with Mrs. Laurel Brundage at the piano.
The bride graduated from Cary High School and East Carolina University. She is employed by Franklinton City Schools in Franklinton, N.C. The groom graduated from Cary High School and attended East Carolina University. He is employed by S.D. Puckett and Associates of Durham, N.C.
After a wedding trip to St. Thomas, the couple lives in Raleigh, N.C.
