PRESNELL-BATTAGLIA

Kristen Battaglia and J. L. Presnell were married September 4, 1993, in Calvary Memorial Church. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Larry Eenigenburg. The reception was held at The Elks Lodge.

The matron of honor was Anjeli Mooneyham, cousin of the groom. Bridesmaids were Kimberly Spencer, friend of bride, and Sarah Battaglia, sister-in-law of the bride. Flower girl was Jessie Lovern, daughter of Mr. Robert Lovern. The best man was James Mooneyham, cousin of the groom. Ushers were Enoch Presnell, cousin of groom, and Mark Battaglia, brother of bride. Ring bearer was Cody Reynolds, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Reynolds.

Wedding and bridal photography by Barry Brooks. The guestbook was attended by Connie Brennan. The director was Mrs. Bobbie Pruitt. A program of wedding music was provided by organist Mrs. Billie Mikkelson, flutist Kerri Mikkelson and soloist Hugh Dalton.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond H. Thomas of Roanoke. She graduated from Cave Spring High School and is employed by Carilion Health Care System. The groom is the son of Mrs. Beulah Presnell of Moneta. He graduated from Staunton River High School and is employed by U. S. Health and Hygiene. The newlyweds will live in Moneta after a honeymoon trip to Myrtle Beach.
