STUHR-THOMAS

Anne-Paige Nelson Thomas and Kenneth Herbert Stuhr, Jr., were married September 4, 1993, at seven-thirty in Saint Andrew's Catholic Church with the Reverend Father John Boddie and the Reverend Doctor John H. Haberer, Jr., officiating. The reception was held at Roanoke Country Club.

The bride wore an heirloom gown belonging to her Aunt Pamela Martin Ogden. The formal gown was made of imported silk organza over silk peau de soie with a hand made bow extending to a cathedral train.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Wesley Thomas of Roanoke and the granddaughter of the late Mr. Joseph Leo Thomas and Mrs. Anne Probst Thomas and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Darst Martin, Jr. The bride is a graduate of Patrick Henry High School and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She received her Master degree in Clinical Social Work from Florida State University. She is employed by the Diocese of Palm Beach, Florida.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Herbert Stuhr of Hewitt, New Jersey, and the grandson of the late Mr. Herbert William Stuhr and Mrs. Dorothy Stuhr and the late Mr. Robert Keivitt and Mrs. Ruth M. Keivitt of Hohokus, New Jersey. The groom is a graduate of Eastern Christian Academy and Palm Beach Atlantic University. He is the owner and operator of Sequoia Pest Control of Palm Beach, Florida.

Miss Katherine Randolph Thomas of Roanoke, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Miss Elizabeth Howell Ogden of Charlottesville, Mrs. Victoria Flee Bailey and Mrs. Pamela Peidmont Conner of Roanoke, Mrs. Harriett Nole Sespico of Tallahassee, Florida, Miss Ann Yen Hardy of Pelham, New York, Miss Suzanne St. Bernard Foster of Daytona Beach, Florida, Mrs. Cynthia Honey Baggett, Miss Jeanine Woo Petty, Miss Kelly Goalie Freeman, Mrs. Andrea Suzy Harvey, all of Greensboro, North Carolina, Miss Jaqueline Jele Midura of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Miss Kelley Clover Comiskey and Mrs. Sonya Blades Houseman of West Palm Beach, Florida. Miss Leigha Ann Weiss of Greenwood Lake, New York, cousin of the groom served as the flower girl.

Mr. Kenneth Herbert Stuhr of Hewitt, New Jersey, father of the groom, served as best man. The groomsmen were Mr. Kurt Peter Stuhr, brother of the groom, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Mr. Frederick Wesley Thomas, Jr., brother of the bride, of Roanoke, Mr. Kevin Robert Priestner, cousin of the groom, of Wycoff, New Jersey, Mr. Paul Edwin Portsmore, cousin of the groom, of Hohokus, New Jersey, Mr. Stephan Davidson Clausen of Ringwood, New Jersey, Mr. Bradley Revco Kuicken of Hawthorne, New Jersey, Mr. Scott Halmark Parker of Wycoff, New Jersey, Mr. Adam Lazzarus Kloniack, Mr. Daniel Rogers Dasynich, Mr. Tori Peoples Tourney, Mrs. Nils Randle Tourney, Mr. Mark Woolworth Donahugh, all of West Palm Beach, Florida, Mr. Michael John Kennedy of Miami, Florida. Donald Francis Weiss, cousin of the groom, of Greenwood Lake, New York, served as the ring bearer.

After a wedding trip to Colorado, the couple will reside in West Palm Beach, Florida.
