WHITMIRE ANNIVERSARY

Charles W. and Virginia D. Whitmire celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception held at Grandin Court Baptist Church on August 21, 1993, given in their honor by their daughter, Carolyn W. Miller, their son, Don Whitmire, both of Roanoke and their sisters, Nancy W. Keeler of Moneta and Lucille D. Fuqua of Vinton.

They were married August 21, 1943 in Vinton, Virginia and reside in Roanoke County. Mrs. Whitmire is the formerVirginia A. Dillard. They have a son-in-law, Randy Miller and two grandchildren, Greg and Michele Miller.
