Christy and Jimmy Barton would like to announce the birth of their son Tyler James. Tyler was born on August 16 at CHRV. He weighed 6 lbs. 13 oz. and was 19 3/4 inches long. His grandparents are Ms. Margaret Barton of Vinton and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Parcell of Vinton. His great-grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. V. O. Russ of Narrows and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Patteson of Glen Lyn.
