MAN'S BODY FOUND IN ROANOKE CREEK

The body of a man was discovered early Saturday afternoon in a creek near Edgewood Street and Brandon Avenue Southwest.

Police said the body was discovered by personnel at the EZNconvenience store, which is beside the creek.

The man had been identified, but his name was being withheld Saturday evening pending notification of relatives.

Police said the cause of death had not been determined, pending an autopsy by the medical examiner.
