Rodney Walsh scored two goals for the Hokies (2-0), giving him four for the tournament. Jason Entlich assisted on both and Will Littman also had a goal. Goalkeeper Brian Bulger had his second shutout of the season.
In the consolation match, VMI defeated Mars Hill 4-3 in overtime.
Walsh was chosen offensive Most Valuable Player of the tournament and teammate Chris Edmonds was chosen defensive MVP.

Tournament MVP Claudio Reyna scored two goals as Virginia overpowered Connecticut 5-1 to win the Coca-Cola Classic men's soccer tournament in Charlottesville.
The Cavaliers (2-0) broke open the game with three goals in a span of 12 minutes, 18 seconds in the first half. Reyna scored the first in the flurry.
In the first game Sunday, Florida International routed George Mason 6-0.
Missy Gaitka's penalty-kick goal in the first overtime gave Radford a 2-1 victory over visiting UNC Asheville in the first Big South Conference women's soccer game.
Gaitka also scored the first goal for the Highlanders (1-0).
For the second consecutive week, the Roanoke Star under-9 boys' soccer team won a tournament title. The Star capped an impressive weekend with a 9-0 rout of Arsenal F.C. (Hanover) in the championship game of the Region 2000 Invitational in Lynchburg.
Josh Davidson had two goals to lead the attack during the tournament, but it was the defense that dominated throughout the weekend as the Star outscored four opponents 31-0. Roanoke got a strong effort from backs Justin Krehbiel, Greg Danahy and Drew Murray, along with excellent goalkeeping from Shane Draper and Billy Butler.
The Roanoke Star Under-16 Green boy's team won the under-17 White Division. The Star defeated the Fauquier Sabres under-17 team 3-2 in a shootout for the title. Jon Seale led Roanoke with three goals in the tournament.
Races ran late Saturday night at Franklin County Speedway in Callaway. Pure Stock points leader R.W. Lawhorn prevailed in a 25-lap race. Mike Owens, last year's points champion, was second and Kenny McKinney finished third.
With the track facing a midnight curfew, the Rookie and Any Car races were shortened to 15 laps each. finishes in Scoreboard.)
