OBIT CLARK, VINCENT JOSEPH
CLARK, Vincent Joseph, 73, of Salem and Naples, Florida, died Friday,
September 3, 1993, after a long illness. He was born November 9, 1919, in
Owensboro, Ky. He was retired from the U.S. Government, Health and Human
Service Department, after 34 years. He was a 1st Lt. in the U.S. Air Force in
World War II. He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church of Naples, Fla. He
is survived by his wife, Ethel Sprouse Clark; one son and daughter-in-law,
Joseph V. and Susie Clark, Laurel, Md.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Ann
Marie and Jim Scully, Columbia, Md., Patricia Elaine and Jim Horan, Golden,
Colo.; three sisters, Mildred DiDonato, Austin, Texas, Mary Catherine
Westerfield, Oveida, Fla., Ida Butto, Melbourne, Fla.; two sisters-in-law,
Elizabeth Sprouse Harvey, Vinton, Irma Sprouse Wells, Naples, Fla.; six
grandchildren, Jim and Laura Clark, Michael Getz, Ryan Scully, Joe and Brian
Horan; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A funeral liturgy will be
conducted 10 a.m. Tuesday at the John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home, by Father
Jim Parke. Burial will be in the Mountain View Cemetery. The family will
receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
at the John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home, Salem.
