OBIT SPENCER, EVELYN MCCLURE
SPENCER, Evelyn McClure, 77, of Blue Ridge, died Friday, September 3, 1993.
She was the widow of Oscar L. Spencer and was a member of Blue Ridge Church of
the Brethren. Surviving are her daughters, Bernadine Buncke and Martha Wimmer;
one brother, Lacy McClure; one sister, Mazie Nichols, all of Blue Ridge; six
grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be at Oakey's Vinton Chapel at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev.
Matthew Fike officiating. Interment will follow in Glade Creek Cemetery. In
lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Blue Ridge Life Saving Crew.
Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
