OBIT FISHER, RUTH FRANCES SPRADLIN

FISHER, Ruth Frances Spradlin, 75, of Route 1, Hardy, died Sunday, September 5, 1993, in a local hospital. Surviving are her husband, Roscoe C. Fisher; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert C. and Linda B. Fisher of Roanoke; daughters, Norma (`Jackie`) Harris of Roanoke, Frances Marie Fisher of the home, Julie L. Jones of Roanoke; daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda F. and Elmer H. Sink of Hardy, Cathy F. and James V. Clingenpeel of Roanoke; a sister, Anita S. Buzik of Hardy; special friends, John and Barbara Robertson and Prentice and Martha Lowe; seven grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 8, 1993, in the Lotz Vinton Chapel with the Rev. C. Berkley Stevens and the Rev. Timothy L. Dooley officiating. Burial will follow in Nineveh Church Cemetery in Hardy. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday at the Lotz Vinton Chapel.
