OBIT THOMAS, CORALIS E.

THOMAS, Coralis E., of Bedford, died Sunday, September 5, 1993, at the VA Medical Center in Salem. He is survived by his beloved wife, Annie L. Thomas; his bassett hound, Wrinkles; two brothers, Clifford Thomas of Charleston, W.Va. and Orville Thomas of Marmet, W.Va.; a brother and sister-in-law from Hendersonville, N.C.; several nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends. He served in the United States Army and retired as a Warrant Officer. He was a member of the Bedford Church of Christ and served as Deacon and Treasurer in the Church. He and his wife traveled extensively and enjoyed life to its fullest. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Bedford Church of Christ with the Ministers William Waters, Dale Jacobs, Hershel Stone and Clyde Dalton officiating. Following the memorial service, graveside military rites will be held in the Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bedford Church of Christ Building Fund for a new Church sign. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Carder-Tharp Funeral Home.
