F. Murray Abraham, winner of an Academy Award for best actor for the 1984 film "Amadeus," suffered a broken wrist and cuts on his face in a car crash that killed another motorist.
Abraham was released from the hospital Sunday. He was driving alone Friday night on a mountain road near Wenatchee, Wash., when his car collided with another at an intersection.
The other driver, Guy E. Ketzenberg of Fall City, Wash., was killed. Two people in his car were injured.
The state patrol said no citation was issued.
Abraham, 53, of New York City, was wearing a seat belt and Ketzenberg wasn't, authorities said.
Abraham has been in the area working on the movie "Surviving the Game," starring rapper Ice-T.
