WILLIAMS, Goldie Beckett, 89, of Roanoke, died Sunday, September 5, 1993.
She was the widow of Cyrus L. Williams and is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, James L. and Darlene Williams of Gig Harbor, Wash.; her
daughter and son-in-law, Margaret W. and Andrew Lambert of Blacksburg; four
grandchildren, James Williams and wife, Cindy of Tacoma, Wash., Mark Lambert
and wife, Arlene of Roanoke, Margaret A. Burton and husband, Robert of
Manhatten, Kan. and Andrea Bingham and husband, John of Roanoke; seven
great-grandchildren; nephew, James A. and Marie Beckett of Henry; niece, Ellen
Prillaman of Callaway. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m.
Wednesday, September 8, 1993, at Sherwood Memorial Park with Dr. Robert
Copenhaver officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St.
Paul's Episcopal Church Salem Memorial Fund or your favorite charity. The
family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lotz Roanoke
Chapel, 1001 Franklin Road, SW.
