OBIT LUTZ, MARION W.

LUTZ, Marion W., 73, of Christiansburg, died Sunday, September 5, 1993, in Heritage Hall, Blacksburg. A Veteran of World War II, he was the former Commander of V.F.W. Post 5311. Surviving are his wife, Mary Catherine Willard Lutz; five sons and daughters-in-law, Melvin H. and Edna Lutz of Salem, Larry W. and Anna Lutz of Springfield, Marion W. Jr. and Janet Lutz of Dublin, Charles W. and Phyllis Lutz and Jay D. and Sharon Lutz, all of Christiansburg; one sister, Edith Eanes of Pilot; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday from the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Rev. Dusty Etter and the Rev. Ellis Meredith, with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 Tuesday evening at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home.
