OBIT HUFF, CARSON T.

HUFF, Carson T., 85, of Dugspur, passed away Sunday, September 5, 1993, at Radford Community Hospital. He was born in Carroll County on June 12, 1908, to Wyatt Blaine Huff and Della Myrtle Smith Huff. He is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Anita and Clifton Marshall, Draper, Jean and Manford Goad, Salem, Evelyn Tate, Pulaski; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Canary H. Newman, Draper, Elva and Vernon Hurst, Draper, Dovie and Shirley Cox, Allisonia; sister-in-law, Tida Huff, Hillsville; two grandchildren, Dean Marshall and Deanna Hopkins; three great-grandchildren; one stepgrandson. He was preceeded in death by his wife Dollie Huff and a brother, Cannie Huff. He was a member of the Dugspur Rescue Squad, with a number of years to the unit and public service. A donation may be made to the Dugspur Rescue Squad, care of Wayne Taylor, Route #1, Dugspur, Va. 24325. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 8, 1993, at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel, Hillsville, with the Rev. Bryan Childress officiating. Burial in the Cox Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
