OBIT JORDAN, JOAN HARDING THURSTON

JORDAN, Joan Harding Thurston, 70, of Richmond, died Sunday, September 5, 1993, at heer home. Mrs. Jordan was born February 17, 1923, in Buena Vista, Va., a daughter of the late Lee Barefoot Thurston and Cammie Clements Thurston. Surviving are four sons, Alex Jordan, Florida, Byron, Jordan, Steve Jordan, Michael Jordan, all of Richmond; two sisters, May Cupp, Lexington, Goldie Snow, Savannah, Ga.; three grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 8, 1993, in the Green Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Lee V. Ruckman will officiate. Arrangments by Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
