OBIT EURE, DR. LEE BRINKLEY SR.
EURE, Dr. Lee Brinkley Sr., 43, of Prospect Ave., Pulaski, died suddenly,
Monday afternoon, September 6, 1993. Dr. Eure was a native of Gates County,
N.C. He was a Family Practioner and was a partner in Family Physicians of
Pulaski. He had received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and had recently been inducted as
a Fellow for the American Academy of Family Practioners. He was a member of
the Virginia Medical Association and Eure Christian Church in Eure, N.C. He
was preceded in death by his father, Tazewell Dempsey Eure Sr. Survivors
include his wife, Josephine Perry Eure; one daughter, Charlotte Perry Eure;
three sons, Lee Brinkley Eure Jr., Marcus Jestfield Eure, and Justin Michael
Eure, all of Pulaski; his mother, Carolyn Brinkley Eure, Gatesville, N.C.; and
one brother, Tazewell D. Eure Jr., Columbia, S.C. A memorial service will be
held 2 p.m. Thursday at Stevens Funeral Chapel, Pulaski, by Father James
Grealish. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. in Eure
Christian Church by the Rev. Wayne Gardner. Burial will follow in Gatesville
Cemetery. Friends may join the family Wednesday, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Miller
Funeral Home, Gatesville and other times at the home of his mother, Main St.,
Gatesville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pulaski Community
Hospital for the Dr. Lee Brinkley Eure Sr. Memorial Fund, Pulaski, Va.
