OBIT PARKS, FRANCES ARMBRISTER

PARKS, Frances Armbrister, 74, of 984 Memorial Drive, Pulaski, died Tuesday morning, September 7, 1993, in the Pulaski Community Hospital. She was born in Wythe County on September 18, 1918, and she was the daughter of the late Harve Armbrister and Maude Rogers Armbrister. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church, Pulaski, and she was a retired employee of Dublin Garment Company. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert R. Parks, one sister, Agnes Parks, and one brother, Hermit Armbrister. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Jackie (Janice) Dickerson, Pulaski, Mrs. Ron (Patsy) Chaffin, Dublin, Mrs. Stephen (Donna) Spaid, Winchester; one son, Herbert R. Parks Jr., Madisonville, Texas; one sister, Evelyn Moore, Max Meadows; one brother, Edwin Armbrister, Max Meadows; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, from the Stevens Funeral Chapel with Dr. John W. Tresch, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens. Visiting will be Thursday, at Stevens Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Inc.
