OBIT CANTRELL, EILEEN ANN
CANTRELL, Eileen Ann, 34, of Exton, Pa., died September 6, 1993, at
Crozer-Chester Medical Center, Upland, Pa. She was born June 9, 1959, in
Easton, Pa. She was the daughter of James F. Cantrell and Roseann B. Sciascia
Cantrell of Roanoke. She was a member of St. Jane Frances DeChantal Easton
Church. She was a 1977 graduate of Notre Dame Catholic High School in Easton
and graduated in 1981 from Sacred Heart School of Nursing, Allentown. She was
a registered nurse with Crozer-Chester Medical Center. She worked at the
hospital for 7 years and served in the emergency room and IV team. She was
responsible for training and presentation in the intravenous drug therapy unit
at Crozer. She had been previously employed by Sacred Heart Hospital in the
Psychiatric Unit and was employed at Lankenau Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa.
She was a skilled carpenter and collected many baseball cards, classic movie
memorabilia and Three Stooges and Star Trek collectibles. She served as senior
class president at Sacred Heart School of Nursing in Allentown, Pa. She had
formerly lived in Havertown and Easton, Pa. At Notre Dame High School, she was
active in marching and symphonic bands and played softball. In addition to her
parents she is survived by three sisters, Joanne Anderson, Falls Church, Karen
Cantrell-Borda, West Chester, Pa.; Krista Cantrell, Exton, Pa.;
brothers-in-law, David Borda of West Chester, Pa., William Anderson of Falls
Church; close friend, Anne Marie Birmingham, Wilmington, Del. There will be a
Mass of Christian burial, Saturday, September 11, 1993, 10 a.m., SS Simon &
Jude Church, West Chester, Pa. Visitation will be Friday, September 10, 7 to 9
p.m. and Saturday, September 11, 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. at the Reilly &
DellaVecchia Funeral Home, West Chester, Pa. Burial will be at St. Agnes
Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart
Association or the Red Cross Flood Relief Fund.
