MEMORIAL SERVICE TODAY FOR PHYSICIAN IN PULASKI PRACTICE

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. today for Dr. Lee Brinkley Eure at the Stevens Funeral Chapel in Pulaski at the same time as the funeral for the 43-year-old physician in Eure, N.C.

Eure, a partner with Family Physicians of Pulaski where he was a family practitioner, died suddenly Monday.

He recently had been inducted as a Fellow for the American Academy of Family Practitioners.

Contributions in his memory can be made to Pulaski Community Hospital for the Dr. Lee Brinkley Eure Sr. Memorial Fund.

Eure was a native of Gates County, N.C. He was a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, N.C., where he also earned his medical degree.
