OBIT HODGES, ARTHUR C.

HODGES, Arthur C., 69, of Route 4, Rocky Mount, died Tuesday, September 7, 1993. He was a retired carpenter with over 37 years of service, and was the proprietor of the Chateau Naturel Vinyard, and was a member of the Rocky Mount United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Ercelle B. Hodges of the home; five daughters and two sons-in-law, Peggy H. Boldt of Oklahoma, Judy H. and Donnie S. Naff of Boones Mill, Faye H. and Kenny Phillips of Rocky Mount, Gail H. Eshbaugh of Wilmington, N.C. and Lisa D. Hodges of Rocky Mount; one son, Michael W. Hodges of Rocky Mount; ten grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, September 10, 1993, at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Joseph Hendricks officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 8:30 at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Home, Rocky Mount.
