OBIT WARE, ANNIE B.
WARE, Annie B., 87, of Rocky Mount, died Wednesday, September 8, 1993. She
was born August 25, 1906 in Franklin County, a daughter of the late Charlie
Brown and Mary Fannie Brown. Mrs. Ware was preceded in death by her husband,
Charlie R. Ware and one son, James T. Ware. She was a member of the Rocky
Mount United Methodist Church. Surviving are one daughter, Louise Cundiff of
Rocky Mount; a special daughter-in-law, Lottie Ware of Rocky Mount; eight
grandchildren, Regenna (Gina) Scott, Clayton Ware, Sarah Jones, George Ware,
Myrtle Cundiff, Dian McGuire, Calvin (Buzz) Cundiff and Norma (Nubbin) Foster.
Also surviving are 13 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, September 10, 1993, at
the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. William K. Dawson
officiating. Burial will follow in High Street Cemetery. The family will
receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral
Home, Rocky Mount.
