OBIT STANTON, CLIFFORD MORGAN

STANTON, Clifford Morgan, 89, of Dublin, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 1993, at Radford Community Hospital. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Radford, where he was a participant in the church choir for many years. He worked for many years at the Radford Arsenal and was a long-time resident of Claytor Lake. He was born December 26, 1903, in Coepoeth, North Wales. He was the son of the late David Morgan Stanton and Helena Burton Stanton. He was preceded in death by brothers, Edgar, Burton, Emlyn, Howard Sr., and John Stanton; sister, Annie. Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Lillian Walbridge, Christiansburg; and one brother, Floyd T. Stanton, Roanoke, the oldest and youngest of his immediate family; numerous nieces; and nephews. Memorial services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Presbyterian Church of Radford, with Ken Locke, Director of University Ministry, officiating. There will be no visitation. Seaver-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home in Radford is in charge of the arrangements.
