OBIT MARKHAM, OTHO GARFIELD SR.

MARKHAM, Otho Garfield Sr., 69, of Troutville, died Wednesday, September 8, 1993. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post #1841. He is survived by his wife, Eloise Markham, Troutville; his mother, Thalia C. Markham, Fincastle; two sons, Otho G. Markham Jr., Kennewick, Wash., Timothy J. Markham, Blue Ridge; one daughter, Frances M. Arnold, Blue Ridge; three brothers, Miles Markham, Ferrum, Thomas Markham, Joel Markham, both of Georgia; three sisters, Georgia Herndon, Fincastle, Elizabeth Campbell, Maiden, N.C., Judith Muncey, Fincastle; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild. A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 11, 11 a.m. at the Old Dominion Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Herbert F. Hogan officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Rader Funeral Home, Troutville.
