OBIT BOUSMAN, BERTHA BAILEY

BOUSMAN, Bertha Bailey, of Roanoke, formerly a resident of Franklin County, died Thursday, September 9, 1993, in a local hospital. She was preceded in death by a son, J. T. Weaver and a daughter, Ann Weaver. Surviving are two sons, Walter Weaver, Roanoke, Dan Weaver, Rocky Mount; one daughter, Peggy Weaver, Roanoke; four grandchildren, Pete Weaver, Terry Weaver, Jerry Weaver, Sherry Weaver; one great-grandchild, Chase Weaver; two brothers, Roy Bailey, Boones Mill, Paul Bailey, Rocky Mount; four sisters, Mary Davis, Penhook, Frances Overstreet, Marie Murray, both of Roanoke, Pauline Crook, Boones Mill. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Rehobeth United Methodist Church Cemetery, with Rev. James Opetia-Williamson officiating. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Rehobeth United Methodist Church. Flora Funeral Service, 342 S. Main Street, Rocky Mount is in charge of arrangements.
