OBIT ZOLLMAN, FRANK LEWIS
ZOLLMAN, Frank Lewis, 86, of Roanoke, died at Friendship Manor, Friday,
September 10, 1993. He was the widower of Janice Blackwell Zollman. Mr.
Zollman is survived by his beloved sister and brother-in-law, Edna Z. and
Robert O. McNiel; and his sister-in-law, Ruby W. Zollman of Roanoke; his
nieces, Norma Z. Engel, Fort Meyers, Fla., and Donna Z. Tobey, Roanoke; six
nephews, Samuel B. Zollman II, Aurora, Colo., Cecil Henderson, John Henderson,
Jack Henderson, all of Roanoke, James Henderson, Rocky Mount, Jean Lyon,
Myrtle Beach, S.C.; also many great-nieces and nephews. He was a member of
Calvary Baptist Church and was a member of United Commercial Travelers for 67
years, where he was a past grand counselor, and a member of Fatima Guild for
65 years. He was the former owner and president of the S. P. Hite Company.
Funeral services will be conducted at Oakey's North Chapel, 1 p.m. Monday,
September 13, with the Rev. M. Dennis Herman officiating. Burial will be in
Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel, where the family
will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
Sunday.
