OBIT KELSO, WILLIAM HAYWARD, SR.

KELSO, William Hayward, Sr., 77, of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, September 9, 1993. He is survived by his wife, Betty S. Kelso; three sons, William H. Kelso Jr. (Valerie)9 Harry C. Kelso, Kit W. Kelso; two daughters and sons-in-law, Nellie E. and Alvin White, Bessie L. and Arthur Roseboro; one sister, Bessie M. Bond all of Roanoke; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, 11 a.m. at Hamlar-Curtis Chapel with Rev. L. A. Lewis officiating with burial in Williams Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements by Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
