SULLIVAN-TAYLOR
Shannon Michelle Taylor and Douglas Scott Sullivan were married September
4, 1993, in Red Hill Church of the Brethren. The reception was held at the
church. Bridesmaids were Fran Bruce, sister of the bride, Sarah Craft, cousin
of the bride, and Robin Hedge, sister of the bride. Ushers were Brian Bugg,
friend of the groom, Billy Hedge, brother-in-law of the bride, and John Wertz,
friend of the groom. The candlelighters were Billy Hedge and John Wertz. The
guestbook was attended Ashleigh and Megan Hedge, nieces of the bride. The
bride is a daughter of Mrs. Iris W. Taylor and the late Robert Roy Taylor,
Jr., of Roanoke. She is a graduate of Patrick Henry High School. The
bridegroom is a son of Mrs. Pamela Gulick and the late Leonard P. Gulick, of
Ridgecrest, Calif. He graduated from Sherman E. Borroughs High School and is
employed by the U.S. Navy. The newlyweds will live in Virginia Beach,
Virginia.
