WYTHE SCHOOLS HOLD PARENT VISITATION DAY

For the fifth year, Wythe County schools will hold a parent visitation day Thursday in all schools.

Students will have lunch before being dismissed for the day at 12:30 p.m.

The visitation schedule will start after that and run for two hours.

An evening schedule of 3 1/2 hours also has been planned for parents unable to come during the day.

Parents will get information from each school on exact times.

Superintendent James Vaught said he would urge parents to get to know their children's teachers early in the school year so they can work together as partners in each child's education.

Parents will have another chance to visit their children's schools in January.

During the school year, parents are welcome to visit schools whenever their schedules allow.
