BROWN-BROGAN

Cynthia Jane Brogan and Matthew Aaron Brown were married August 14, 1993, in Good Shepherd Church of the Brethren, Blacksburg, Va., with Rev. Marianne Pittman officiating. The reception was held at Donaldson Brown Center, Virginia Tech. The matron of honor was Debra T. Hux, Jacksonville, N. C. Bridesmaids were Valerie Van Note, Adelphi, Md.; Elina Kahtava, Tampere, Finland; Jen Brown, Saginaw, Mich., sister of groom; and Karen Defever, Port Collins, Colo. The best man was Todd Wright, Houghton, Mich. The ushers were Mike Defever, Port Collins, Colo., Ed Dorsey, Huntington, W. Va.; Mark Kreider, Falls Church, Va.; and Keith Laepple, Seattle, Wash. The guestbook was attended by Mary Wilson and Marilyn Brogan, cousins of bride. The bride is the daughter of William and Margaret Ann Brogan of Salem, Va. She graduated from Glenvar High and Virginia Tech. The groom is the son of Charlie and Jan Brown of Bay City, Mich. He graduated from Michigan Tech. The newlyweds will live in Cary, N. C., after a wedding trip to Surry, Maine.
