LAFFERTY-SINK

The marriage of Melinda Lea Sink to Bennie Thomas Lafferty took placeSeptember 11, 1993 in Antrim Chapel at Roanoke College with Reverend Wessley Patterson officiating. The receptionfollowed at the Elks Lodge.

Stephanie Booth, sister of the bride, served as the matron of honor, and Jenny Vaughn, long time friend of the bride, served as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Linda Woltz, sister of the groom; Jodi Sisler, Deleigh Sowers and Michele Brizendine, all good friends of the bride. The guestbook was attended by Cindy Dudley and Vicki Sowers, both good friends of the bride.

Agie Lafferty, Sr., served as his son's best man. Groomsmen were Scott Wilkes, Ronnie Pendleton, Kevin Sowers, Jackie Sowers and Brian Roberts, all good friends of the groom.

The wedding music was provided by Elizabeth Dechent, harpist, and thesoloist was the bride's father.

Melinda is the daughter of Mrs. Betty C. Sink and Mr. F. Wayne Sink. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Callahan and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Sink. Bennie is the son of Mr. and Mrs Agie Lafferty, Sr.

A special thanks to Mrs. AngelaCallahan for all her help with thewedding. Also Melinda and Bennie would like to thank all of their wonderful family and friends for making this day a very treasured memory.

Bennie and Melinda will live in Roanoke after their honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas.
