MATHEWS-FORREST

Mountain Lake Gazebo was the setting for the ceremony uniting Sandra Lynn Forrest and Robert Llandaff Mathews in marriage on August 14, 1993.

Music was provided by Miss Valerie Cooper, cousin of the bride, of Elmira, N.Y., with a rendition of `On The Shore' by Euya.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a tea length satin gown with a handkerchief hemline accented with schiffli and chantilly laces with a designed wedding band collar. The fitted bodice was beaded with sequins and pearls. Her headpiece was a satin bow designed with pearls and sequins with a two layered veil. She carried a cascading bouquet of white sancherie lilies, bridal white roses, highlighted with pink lilies with accents of fern and ivy.

Nami Teramoto, of San Francisco, friend of the bride, was maid of honor. She carried a bouquet of handtied Rubrum lilies, pink alstameria lilies, white roses tied with ivory ribbon and lite streamers in teal. Hilary Zaparzynski, of Appalachian, N.Y., cousin of the bride, was flower girl. The guest book was attended by Loretta Forrest, sister-in-law of the bride.

Ed Snyder, of Library, Penn., friend of the groom, was the best man. Scott Forrest, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer. Junior ushers were Nicholas Mathews, of Derby, England, brother of the groom, and Jackie Thompson, of Moneta.

A reception was held in the ballroom of Mountain Lake Hotel following the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Wilmot and Peggy Forrest, of Narrows, Va. She is a graduate of Va. Tech and Calif. State Universities with degrees in Psychology and Accounting. She is employed by Odenberg, Ullakka, Muraniski in San Francisco.

The groom is the son of Lynda Attenborough, Santa Monica, Ca., and David Mathews, of Derby, England. He attended the University of Calif. at Irvine. He is employed by Digital Prepress International of San Francisco.

Guests attending the wedding were from England, Calif., Conn., N.Y., Penn., N.J., W. Va., Texas, and Va. The newlyweds will make their home in Oakland, Calif.
