STEVENS-LEMONS

Deirdre Meryl Lemons and Jim Allen Stevens were married at 11:30 a.m.,September 4, 1993, on the patio at La Maison in Roanoke. The Reverend Kirk Ballin officiated. A luncheon reception followed the ceremony.

The matron of honor was Julie Miller of Roanoke. The bridesmaids were Alicia Ferrell of Daleville; Ann Bowles of Blue Ridge; and Kathy Leonard of New York City. Groomsmen were J.B. and Steve Stevens, brothers of the groom; and Derek Lemons, brother of the bride. Bobby Smith was best man.

The bride is the daughter of Paul and Barbara Lemons of Roanoke. She is a graduate of Lord Botetourt High School, Virginia Tech, and Old Dominion University. She is a physical therapist employed by Beverly Enterprises.

The groom is the son of Joan Garman Stevens of Fincastle, and the lateJefferson Baird Stevens. He is a graduate of James River High School and Radford University. He is a partner in Bedford Environmental Drilling Services.

After a honeymoon in Jamaica, the Stevens will live at 1725 Trinity Road in Troutville.
