SWEENEY ANNIVERSARY

Mr. and Mrs. Eugene R. Sweeney celebrated their 50th anniversary on September 12, 1993. The celebration was held at daughter and son-in-law's home. It was hosted by Don and Donna Jean Anger. The couple was married September 10, 1943, in Elkton, Md. They have lived in Roanoke since their marriage except for tours in Air Force. Mrs. Sweeney is the former Donna C. Willis. They have one daughter, Donna Jean Anger of Roanoke; one grandchild, Cindy C. Quick; and on great-grandchild, Donald E. Quick. Mr. Sweeney presently owns and is operator of Star-Ro Trailer Co., Inc. He retired from Capital International Airlines. Mrs. Sweeney owns and operates Star-Ro Trailer Co., Inc., and The Tack Room, Inc.
