OBIT RHODES, DOROTHY CUNNINGHAM
RHODES, Dorothy Cunningham, 65, of Salem, died Saturday, September 11,
1993, in a Salem hospital. She was a member of Locust Grove United Methodist
Church. She was an honorary member of the Fort Lewis Rescue Squad. She is
survived by her husband, Eugene Donald (Dusty) Rhodes; two daughters and
sons-in-law, Rebecca and Ronald R. Howerton of Salem and Betty and John Rhodes
of Catawba; daughter, Donna Lisa Rhodes of Salem; brother, Larry B. Cunningham
of Salem; sister, Louise Weinzyzk of Salem, Shelvie Hale, Salem;
granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth Aldridge; grandson, Michael Eugene Aldridge;
great-grandson, Allen Michael Aldridge; great-aunt; a host of nieces and
nephews. Graveside services will be held Monday, September 13, 1993, at 2 p.m.
at Sherwood Memorial Park with the Rev. Mike Derflinger officiating. In lieu
of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fort Lewis Rescue Squad or to the
Salem Rescue Squad. Friends may call at Lotz Salem Chapel at noon on Sunday.
