OBIT BALDWIN, ROBERT OWEN

BALDWIN, Robert Owen, 78, of Salem, died Saturday, September 11, 1993. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Margaret W. Baldwin. He was retired after a long career from Roanoke Electric Steel Corporation. He is survived by one brother, Henry Baldwin of Troutville; four sisters, Blanche Murray of Bonsack, Louise Gregory of Norfolk, Marguerite Carter of Portsmouth and Edith Frank of Maryland; four children, Charles A. Baldwin of Salem, Jonnie Anne Hancock of Salem, Rev. Dr. Robert S. Baldwin of Roanoke and Rev. Deborah `Kayt` Baldwin of Washington; nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Fort Lewis Baptist Church on Monday, September 13, 1993, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Leonard Southern officiating. All friends and loved ones are welcome to attend.
