In Life magazine, out today, Seinfeld says: "All comedians are cranky. I never met a funny person who wasn't. That's why New York produces good comedians. The place is a gymnasium of irritation."
"Terminator" Arnold Schwarzenegger has closed a deal to buy the Los Angeles-area home of his next-door neighbor, John Forsythe.
Forsythe, who played Blake Carrington in ABC's "Dynasty," had listed the four-bedroom, 6,000-square-foot Pacific Palisades home for $3.9 million.
Schwarzenegger, 46, is married to Maria Shriver, 37, host of NBC's "First Person."

Elizabeth Ann Wells ran away from home when she was 13 and stayed away for two awful years. Then she saw her photo in a music video about missing children ("Runaway Train" by the group Soul Asylum), and was so moved that she called her mom and went home again.
But when they approached the band at a recent MTV Awards rehearsal to share their story, the group's manager shooed them away, saying, "No, no, no! You must be kidding. You can't meet them. Forget it!"
