RADFORD ROUTS ROBERT MORRIS WOMEN

Senior Sue Williams, Radford's all-time leading scorer, had three goals and three assists as the Highlanders routed Robert Morris 10-0 in a women's game in Coraopolis, Pa.

The game was suspended with 20 minutes left when Robert Morris was unable to continue play because of injuries. Melissa Gaitka and Jennifer Capece had three goals each for Radford (2-0), which outshot the Colonials 20-0.

The Robert Morris men's team defeated Radford 4-0 in a non-conference matchup in Coraopolis, Pa. The Colonials (3-0-1) outshot the Highlanders 16-6 as Radford (0-5) was shutout for the fifth time this year.

Jason Entlich scored the lone goal as Virginia Tech (3-1) defeated George Mason 1-0 in the George Mason/Lanzera Men's Invitational. Entlich's sixth goal of the season moved him into fifth place on Tech's all-time list with 22.

Brian Bates scored on a penalty kick in the 40th minute and goalkeeper Jeff Causey recorded his first shutout of the season as top-ranked Virginia (4-0, 1-0) beat Maryland 1-0 in an ACC game at College Park, Md.

In Charlottesville, William and Mary shut out Virginia 2-0 in a battle of top 10 women's teams. The Tribe (3-0) is No. 5 in the coaches' poll; Virginia (2-1) is No. 8.
