The Roanoke Star Under-11 Green team defeated St. Giles Omega of Greenville, S.C., 4-2 to win the Autumn Chase soccer tournament in Bristol.
Michael Andres' strong play in goal kept the Star team in the game early, and Roanoke rallied behind the offensive play of Alborz Fathedin and Brad Newton. Fathedin had a goal and an assist, and Newton had two goals. Paul Cantor scored Roanoke's other goal.
