OBIT RICE, MABLE CLARA GIBSON

RICE, Mable Clara Gibson, 92, of Ferrum, died Sunday, September 12, 1993. She was born in Bluefield, W. Va. She was a long time member of the Christian Life Fellowship Pencostal Holiness Church of Salem. She was preceded in death by a son, John A. Rice, and a daughter, Anna R. Gillispie. She is survived by three sons, Clarence Rice, Blacksburg, Bill A. Rice, Christiansburg, Paul Rice, Sealston; three daughters, Emma Graham, Richmond, Ruth R. Clements and Betty R. Watson, both of Roanoke. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 14, 1993 at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem. Rev. Ken Kingrea officiating. Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. from the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home.
