OBIT MOORE, OLLIE

MOORE, Ollie `Jane`, 64, of Lexington, died Sunday morning, September 12, 1993, at her home. Mrs. Moore was born September 21, 1928, in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late James Oliver Moore and Mattie Jane Higgins Moore. She was a member of the Lauderdale A.R.P. Church and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #1499. Surviving are her husband, Clarence L. Moore Sr; one son, Clarence L. Moore Jr. of Gum Springs; two sisters, Vernie Mable Kirkpatrick of Lexington and Mary Ethel Swisher of Lexington; two grandchildren, Eric and Katie; a special friend, Harry Swisher of Lexington. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 15, 1993, at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Roy Swisher officiating. Burial will follow in the Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to the Rockbridge Area Hospice, P.O. Box 948, Lexington, VA 24450. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
