VINTON FESTIVAL

The 17th annual Vinton Folklife Festival featuring traditional music, crafts, foods, history exhibits and children's activities will be held Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Vinton War Memorial grounds.

Entertainment will include: autoharpist Betty Waldron, 10 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.; The Original Orchard Grass Band, 10:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.; Brown Family Square Dancers, Inheritance and ``Crazy Earl,'' 11 a.m.; Brown Family Square Dancers, Inheritance, ``Crazy Earl'' and Betty Waldron, 12:45 p.m.; folk group Julie Adams and the Rhino Boys, 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.; Daniel Womack, 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.; storyteller Cathy Coleman, 4 p.m.; and 15-year-old fiddler April Whittaker, 4:15 p.m.
