CROP-LOSS CLAIMS DEADLINE

The deadline is Friday for Giles and Montgomery county farmers to file claims on 1990-1992 crop losses because of low quality.

Payments already have been made in both counties on some low-yield claims. The revised application period gives producers a chance to file claims for adjustments because of poor quality.

Farmers with evidence of quality loss should contact the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service office, 7 N. Franklin St., or call 382-3961.
