DIABETES GROUP IN 15TH YEAR; ELECTS OFFICERS

The Juvenile Diabetes Foundation of Roanoke Valley, which is beginning its 15th year of volunteerism and fund raising, has elected new officers and board members.

Tom Ruble of Appalachian Power Co. has been elected chairman of the board, and Don Stanley of Advertising Consultants is president.

Other officers are: Roger Magerkurth, vice president; and Kevin Quinn, secretary-treasurer.

Newly elected board members include Laura Bolster, Sandy Gumpert, Richard Chafin, Suzie Hawkins and Molly Rutherfoord.
