CURVE ROAD CLOSING STARTING MONDAY

Because of construction, Curve Road will be closed during working hours from Mountain Lake Avenue to Poplar Lane starting Monday. The entrance to the shopping plaza off Curve Road also will be closed to traffic.

The road will be open nights, weekends and holidays and at other times when the contractor is not working.

The official detour will be via Mountain Lake Avenue, Hale Street and Oak Lane. Only local traffic will be permitted on Curve Road during construction.

Barricades will be placed at these locations:

Sunset Drive at Curve Road.

French Street at Curve Road.

Curve Road at Mountain Lake Avenue.

Curve Road at Magic Mart Plaza entrance.

Craig Avenue at Giles Street.

Curve Road at Poplar Lane.

Motorists should avoid these areas after 6 a.m. on weekdays.
