LIONS CLUB PLANS DOG EVENT OCT. 2

The Blacksburg Breakfast Lions Club is sponsoring the fourth annual Walk-a-Dog-a-thon to benefit Leaders Dogs for the Blind on Oct. 2. The event will take place at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine from 8 a.m. to noon.

Interested people do not need a dog to participate, but may borrow one from the Montgomery County Humane Society. Sponsor forms can be found at public libraries, and all branches of the National Bank of Blacksburg and First National Bank of Christiansburg.
