The Achievement Center was not listed on a chart of private schools in the Sept. 2 edition of Neighbors. Barbara Whitwell is director of the center, which has an enrollment capacity of 80 students, ages 5-13. The center can be reached at 982-0128.
Because of a graphic artist's error, the time for registering to vote on Oct. 2 at the Roanoke libraries was wrong on a chart in the Sept. 9 Neighbors editions. Registration will be held at the Main, Raleigh Court, Jackson Park, Melrose and Williamson Road libraries from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 2.
The Rev. Charles W. Easley, who will become the first full-time chaplain of Brandon Oaks retirement community next month, is 62. In the Sept. 2 Neigbors edition, a reporter gave an incorrect age for the new chaplain and failed to make clear that others who held the position did so part time while working at other jobs.
