SALEM JUNIOR MISS PAGEANT SET SATURDAY

Three seniors from Salem High School and one from Glenvar High School will compete in the 1994 Salem Junior Miss Program at South Salem Elementary School at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

The Junior Miss Program, formerly the Young Woman of the Year Program, is a scholarship program for high school seniors. Prizes include cash and scholarships to area colleges.

The winner will compete in the state program in February in Roanoke.

Tickets are available at the door for $3 each.

The contestants are:

Sara Gubola, daughter of Mary and Tim Gubola. The Salem senior will sing for the creative and performing arts competition.

Missy Olson, daughter of David and Marion Olson. Also a Salem senior, she will dance during the competition.

Elizabeth Roberts, daughter of Dennis Roberts and Barbara Kidd. The Salem senior will perform a dramatic monologue.

Candace Kanode, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Kanode. The Glenvar senior will dance.
