HELP THE COMMUNITY; GET LOW-COST FOOD

New River Valley residents who would like to save up to 60 percent on their food bill and get involved in their community at the same time might find SHARE fits the bill.

SHARE - the Self-Help and Resource Exchange - is a nonprofit food distribution and community service program that's been active in Southwestern Virginia since 1984. For $13 plus tax and two hours of community service, participants get 25-35 pounds of food and the satisfaction of helping others.
