OBIT ASHWELL, ALEX JUNIOR

ASHWELL, Alex Junior, 57, of Roanoke, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 1993. Survivors include his wife, Virginia Ashwell; one son, Paul Ashwell; sister, Lillian Jordan; sister-in-law, Mary Ashwell, all of Roanoke; two aunts, Della Jackson, Roanoke, Abbie Pullens, Washington, D.C.; two grandchildren; one niece; two nephews; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Hamlar-Curtis Chapel with Dr. J. E. Young officiating, with burial in the family cemetery, Hurt's Gate, Moneta. The familyl will receive friends Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
